A Repudiation

As a member of the Republican Party I can say that the Republican Party is not what it used to be.
It has sunk so low, in fact, that I reject it and my party membership.
As an American I can no longer reconcile my patriotism with the actions of this political party which has not only taken on criminal overtones but has been participating in overt criminal acts.
As a descendant of our forefathers – those first few brave men and women that stood up proudly against tyranny I can no longer participate in a political party which slavishly bends to the will of its master without question or conscience.
As a descendant of immigrants who came to these fair and fortunate shores to gain a better life for their family and for me I can no longer stand with the Republican Party which each day disenfranchises Americans, Native Americans and newly arrived immigrants in a brazen power grab fit for the third world and corrupt nations we have come from than here – in the United States of America.
I repudiate the Republican Party and the false promises it has heaped upon our people. I reject the leadership of the Republican Party and brand them traitors to the nation and fit for irons and infamy. I condemn their act and atrocities in war and I stand against their constant assault on our freedoms.
As God is my witness I am not an enemy to this land and I will not stand idly by while these half-men and waxen women dig into my private life and dig into my personal information in an attempt to defame me and take from me what is rightfully mine.
As a human I cannot stand with these men and women who have openly defied our laws and sprinkled our nation with deceit. I cannot stand idly by while they wrap the words of our constitution and declaration of independence in the fish paper of their hometown bibles. I cannot stand by while they pervert the word of God for their own political object and steal from our children their future.
I turn from the Republican Party – which was once the Party of Lincoln – and I cry out to the world that this is so no more! This is not a party of freedom, this is not a party of justice, this is not a party of liberty – but of jaded bureaucrats, intent on seizing our nation from us and casting us into the wind and cold.
They are men and women intent on stealing the very food from the mouths of our children and I will not stand with them. I will not be one of them. I will not be known as they are known and I cast my lot with mankind and turn away from the evil that they have foisted upon us.
No man – no woman – will keep an American in bondage. No nation, no church, no political party will ever enslave me or my countrymen! By God I stand against them and I will see them fall into the earth below. Let them be banished! Let them be outlawed! Let them be wiped from the face of the earth like the abomination that they are!
I am no longer a member of the Republican Party.
I am an American and I will not abide them in my nation. I will not call them countrymen. I will not look to them for light and reason. I count them as minions of the darkness who are intent on swarming over this earth like a plague.
They will not prevail.
So Help Me God – an American says this.
God Bless America – May His Light Shine On Us Again and let us pass through these dark hours to the light of freedom beyond.
It is so close.
They have already been defeated.
The new day dawns.
I am free.
