The Knights of Columbus Charade

The more I learn about Knights of Columbus Insurance the more I think of the story where Jesus went to the temple and threw out the money changers.
The insurance company claims the highest rating assigned by Standard & Poor's and the AM Best companies (AAA+) (Superior) and the Insurance Marketing Standards Association (IMSA) seal of approval.
It crows loudly about how quickly it amassed over 4 billion dollars in assets.
Apparently it has over 50 billion dollars worth of insurance in force at this time.
Here are some of the specifics for buying insurance from this company :

Often times diocese internet sites have links to this insurance company. Representatives show up at Knights of Columbus meetings and tout their wares.
It seems that the memory of Father McGivney, found of the Knights of Columbus is being sullied and the Catholic Church is being used as a front to peddle insurance and recycle cash back to universities and schools that are practicing racist policies.
I believe that the relationship between the Catholic Church and the insurance peddlers at the Knights of Columbus should be reviewed. I think it is a disgrace that they are proudly and selfishly proclaiming their billions of dollars in insurance benefits while children and families around the world are suffering from disease, starvation and homelessness.
It is a failure of conscience and love that insurance of a home stereo or a car or a house is considered to be more important by these people than the victims of war, hunger and pestilence.
Nothing has been preserved – money has been taken out of the system and the Church is being used as a crutch for a financial organization that otherwise could not have gotten off the ground.
Silence by the Church and responsible individuals in this matter is complicity.
It seems ridiculous to me that at a time in the United States when the Catholic Church is under nearly daily attack that an insurance company ridding off an association with the Church should be reaping so much money it doesn’t know what to do with.
Is there not anything you can write about this?
Is there not anything that can be done?
