Hoekstra

I am shocked that Peter Hoekstra is the Chairman of the House Select Intelligence Committee. What is it exactly the committee is trying to do? Put Americans out of jobs? Make the border less secure? Introduce illiteracy at every level of government? Allow unrestricted immigration?Michigan is number 1 in job loss so it appears that by distracting Peter Hoekstra from his duties as representative of his Michigan electorate that you are attempting to put Americans out of work.Michigan has a porous border. Literally tens of thousands of garbage are trucked into this state and the trucks are never given so much as a sniff to see what is in them. The children that live near the dumps can tell you that they stink and their parents - what with the birth defects and deformi ties can attest to the fact that Mr. Hoekstra is more interested in garbage revenue than in the health of his constituents - so I guess you are intent on making the border less secure. Michigan tuition fees are out of sight, police officers patrol the corridors of elementary schools and teachers seem to be on an assembly line into the courts on charges of child molestation. Meanwhile school scores are dropping and less money is available for books and equipment. I guess you would rather help Peter Hoekstra hide the truth about the budget that is dumped on the malfunctioning CIA and the inept FBI than send him back home so that he can get his work done. The work expected by his constituents. In Michigan there are more Spanish speaking radio stations in the western part of the State than english speaking ones. Here in Michigan police officers ignore illegal immigrants. Here in Mich igan towns and cities use contractors that employ illegal aliens to perform work that should be done by Americans - so I guess you are intent on allowing unrestricted immigration.Let me tell you - with a Representative like Hoekstra - Michigan is worse off than it was before he took office. So - you can see - each day he sits as Chairman of the House Select Committee on Intelligence - even each day he is on the committee - this nation will become dumber and less able to respond to threats.Mr. Hoekstra in my opinion makes this nation weaker. He is not an asset to your committee and is only an embarrassment to the people and the State of Michigan.
