Presidential Aviation

The U.S. military is searching for a plane carrying three civilian crew members and three military passengers.
Presidential Aviation operated the plane.
The civilian plane was under contract to carry troops and equipment in Afghanistan.
It left Bagram air base, north of the capital, on Saturday, never arriving at its secret destination.
Mark Gordon owns Presidential Aviation and also founded Precision Response – a call center company. He got his start in blue jeans in 1969.
Gordon projects Presidential revenue will exceed $12 million this year, up from $8.1 million in 2001 and $7.1 in 2000.
Gordon’s combat background was molded in his father's Chicago-based women's apparel chain stores named Gordon's.
In his spare time, when not messing around with his new venture capital group - Presidential Capital Partners (which funds call centers) - he collects historical documents, fountain pens, paper weights and wine.
The Gulfstream III seats 14 and travels internationally, rents for $4,450 an hour. The Lear 55 seats seven at $2,250 an hour – combat zone prices are secret.
Client David Epstein said he likes charter flying. Epstein helped found Precision Response. Epstein is now co-owner of the Florida Panthers.
"There are times when I go to New York for a meeting and I can be home to see my kids before they go to bed," Epstein said. " I could never do that flying commercially."
It’s clear to me that the war in Afghanistan has become a cash cow and Iraq is sure to follow.
