Billy Graham 5

I read a letter that shows the Billy Graham philosophy clearly.
In this writing we see the philosophy and religion of Billy Graham and his type of preaching crystallized clearly for all to see.
For in this writing he promises, personally, through the Word of the Lord and from the Pages of the Bible, salvation to the poor sinner who has come unto him.
The question from the writer is if a man lives a good life but commits sin just before death will he be redeemed?
Billy Graham answers back that indeed, the sinner had already been redeemed and that there is no need for worry. The poor sinner who ached and pained to live a good life all his days but sinned just before death is not only still clean, has not only been cleansed but was never dirtied in the first place.
The problem with this is one of time – but I won’t go into that – for really – what is time and a man’s life in the infinite breadth of the universe and God’s mind? It is but a chance to do good. But Billy Graham wasn’t focused on that and since I am addressing this matter in regards to him I won’t focus on that either.
I will say but this about that – in Billy Graham’s vision of the world Adolph Hitler and Pol Pot sinned not.
The sinner – now armed with Billy Graham’s blessing – can now go out and fornicate, commit adultery, perhaps commit that sin that has always tagged along in mind, like murder, theft, rapine or some other shenanigans that to the rest of us would be reprehensible and unforgivable.
What Billy Graham is preaching is the Sermon of the Dirty Old Man. After all – the accounts and actions of an old man can’t be written on the tablet against the name of a fine example of a sinless and God fearing youth, can they? God will forgive the deflowering of a virgin in heat, the throwing of a widow into the street, the orphaning of a child, the murder of an enemy, the burning of a business for insurance, mail fraud, smuggling cigarettes, taking heroin, practicing voodoo or committing some other atrocity.
The reason this struck me with such force is that this man has repeatedly been in contact with our recent Presidents from Nixon on down. His calming voice and his promise of salvation even in the face of committing evils must be very welcome to a man in distress and unable or unwilling to make the moral decisions demanded of him by modern America.
So Billy Graham, with his snake oil, and the Dirty Old Man Sermon, is invited into the halls of power to consecrate falsehoods with the salve and bandaging of a belief that says, ‘If you are good at heart, you can sin all you want.’
Wounds do not heal if they are covered in polluted mud and sealed with plaster so that air cannot get to them. The words of Billy Graham are like a thickening salve filled with bacteria and virus disease – eating away at the Christian conscience and destroy the Spirit of Life in many people before it is even given a chance to be born.
Billy Graham is an abortionist of the Spirit.
