Religious War 21st Century

President Bush likes to use the phrase ‘Freedom On the March’ as if he is living in a 1940’s newsreel or narrating a program on the ‘History Channel’. As each day goes by the news becomes more regular. More predictable. The same circle of violence goes on. Instead of keeping the United States apart from it and attempting to make the peace this President has seen fit to draw us into this black hole.
His friends at Bechtel and Halliburton make money – they even make money when they things they build get blown up – because Bush pays them to build them all over again.
Our soldiers are dying.
Our business interests (outside of Texas and Wyoming) are drying up around the world.
The fact that General Motors is backing out of Europe is not only because of their shoddy and cheap gas guzzling products – no one wants to be associated with them. I am sure GM would be doing fine if they had a no-bid contract with the Bush Administration to build a car factory over and over again and pump out cars – in Iraq new car purchases outpace trade-ins because the cars make their way quickly to the car bomb market.
In light of the fact that we have been drawn into an unchanging future in the Iraqi slaughterhouse – let’s take a look at some simplified news headlines. If these headlines are used and recycled every day then the news agency can pay attention to real news – like the corruption of local government officials, illegal immigration, automatic weapons, the stupefying influence of the National Rifle Association, loss of American jobs, the crippling of our economy, farm subsidies for cotton and sugar beets, farm subsidies for everything else, murder, drugs, smuggling – you know – the kinds of things that make for interesting morning news reading.
Here we go :
Onward Christian Soldiers.
Earlier today Muslim rockets were fired into Jewish settlements.
Immediately following the Jewish Army retaliated with Jewish missiles.
In other news the Christians again warned the Atheists against aggression towards the Bhuddists.
The Bhuddists declared themselves independent and the Atheists immediately threatened invasion.
The Christians also extended a warning to the Muslims after the Muslims test fired a Muslim rocket.
The Christians stated that aggression against the Hindus was unwarranted.
The Hindus promised retaliation if the Muslims should choose to attack them.
The Christians called on the Hindus to temper their rhetoric becauese the Hindus recently created and tested a Hindu atomic bomb. Work was continuing on making more Hindu atomic bombs as well as stepping ahead with plans to build a Hindu hydrogen bomb – a thermonuclear device derived from atomic bombs that the Christians invented in order to protect themselves from the Atheists who had made them to protect themselves from the Christians that had been killing the Jews in World War 2.
The Muslims stated that they had no choice in the face of this threat and went ahead and developed and tested the Muslim atomic bomb. Work is continuing on development of a Muslim hydrogen bomb as well.
Elsewhere, the Christians continued to attack Muslim cities in the hope of driving out the unbelievers and destroying the more violent Muslims.
The Muslims promised to fight on and sent Muslim suicide bombers into the midst of the Christians.
The Atheists stated that they were firmly on the side of the Christians and immediately began cracking down on any suspicious activity among their Christian, Bhuddist and Muslim citizens.
More on this tomorrow.
