Bush and Mecca

Unfortunately, Bush’s Washington has become the Mecca for political monsters.
Heroes of every cause – Creationists, the Flat Earth Society, five different Intelligence Agencies all doing the same thing, Drug Companies, Drug Control Advocates, Born Again Catholic Evangelists, Rotarians and bureaucrats of every shape and size wander in by all known routes, some elected, some by appointed, and some by “the Word of God”.
Most are merely busy bodies.
In Washington they “work”, play golf, sleep and reproduce themselves. They hang around public buildings, take up the time of congressmen and freely display their weird and dangerous products.
Consumed by a passion for experimentation that they call moralily, they regard the American people as a legitimate subject for endless experiments and for carrying out some religious quest that they have deceived themselves into believing.
To these babbling quacks, the Constitution of the United States is not a bulwark of liberty but an obstruction of their progress. It is merely a document to be altered at will, like a half finished letter or a chore that can be quickly finished up so that they can get on with what they are really interested in.
They study it and our form of government only to figure our some way to get around it and turn it to their advantage. There is no depth to which they will not sink, no lie they will not tell if they can get around the limitations imposed by the Constitution and put us all under the boot
