KBR AND GENERAL ELECTRIC FORM ALLIANCE
HOUSTON - KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root) Production Services group and GE Power Systems have today announced that they have formed a formal strategic alliance to serve the global oil and gas market with an enhanced portfolio of Asset Management and Operations & Maintenance services. KBR is the engineering, construction and services subsidiary of Halliburton Company (NYSE:HAL).
The alliance combines the resources of two of the world's largest service providers integrating the oil & gas industry leading asset and maintenance management expertise of KBR's Aberdeen-based Production Services group with the extensive equipment technology and servicing capabilities of GE Power Systems (GEPS), including GE Oil & Gas and GE Aero Energy.

HALLIBURTON COMPLETES PRE-COMMISSIONING OF STRATEGIC EGYPTIAN PIPELINE PROJECT
HOUSTON, Texas and ABERDEEN, Scotland - Halliburton's (NYSE: HAL) Energy Services Group has successfully completed the pre-commissioning phase of the East Gas Pipeline Project in Egypt for Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO).
The pipeline will be used to export gas to Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey and other European countries. The 36-inch by 268 kilometers (166 miles) pipeline runs from El-Arish, Egypt to Aqaba, Jordan and is split into land and offshore sections. The 250 kilometers (155 miles) land line extends from El-Arish to Taba and the 18 kilometers (11 miles) offshore line runs from Taba to Aqaba, crossing the Gulf of Aqaba in water depths of 850 meters (0.52 miles).

Lanzhou Petrochemical Company Selects KBR's SCORETM Technology for 600,000 Ton/Year Ethylene Plant
HOUSTON, TX - KBR (Kellogg Brown & Root) has been awarded a basic design engineering package for a new 360,000 ton/yr ethylene plant capacity expansion, which will be added to an existing 240,000 ton/yr unit for a total capacity of 600,000 ton/year by the Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, which operates under the auspices of PetroChina. The facility will be located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province of the Peoples Republic of China and will utilize KBR's proprietary SCORETM (Selective Cracking Optimum REcovery) technology. Huanqiu Chemical Engineering and Construction Company (HQCEC) will perform the detailed engineering. KBR is the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton (NYSE:HAL).

HALLIBURTON AWARDED $140 MILLION CONTRACT BY SAUDI ARAMCO
DALLAS, Texas - Halliburton's (NYSE: HAL) Energy Services Group, through its Halliburton Energy Services and Landmark Graphics business units, announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide services for the Saudi Arabian Oil Company's (Saudi Aramco) Qatif Field development project in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia. The initial scope of the three-year project to drill producing oil and water wells will include using a wide range of technologies, such as drilling optimization software and extended-reach drilling and the installation of several multilateral systems.
