A lot has been said about the even handed behavior of Dick Cheney, who, even though his daughter is a declared and practicing homosexual continues to behave as if everything is quite alright.
A book his wife wrote includes lesbian relations. The book is out of print. It is called a testament to the freedoms that Wyoming represents. It reflects a ‘western’ frontier spirit which led Wyoming to allow women to vote in 1869.
The right to vote for women masked fear of being overrun by freed slaves or the ‘Buffalo Soldiers’ who were in the West fighting Indians after their brethren – both white and black – had been slaughtered on the battlefields of the Civil War in the East.
It doesn’t take a long time to find the real Cheney Wyoming.
Here is an old law from Cheney’s Wyoming - All marriages of white persons with Negroes, Mulattos, Mongolians, or Malaya hereafter contracted in the State of Wyoming are and shall be illegal and void.
Of 36 lynchings during a 44 year period – 16 of them were noted as being carried out by ‘Terrorists’. A lynch mob is considered ‘terrorist’ if it is well organized and carries extralegal violence for economic gain. Sound familiar? Cheney has a very clear idea of terrorism and what it takes to succeed as on it appears.
If we add in the history of unions in Wyoming to the mix – Cheney’s behavior is really not all that surprising – but, in my opinion, it’s still disgusting.
