Eleven Men Dead

I have an opinion.
In early May, 2010, BP (British Petroleum) had placed a 98 ton plug on top of the failed well pipe that broke in the Gulf of Mexico .
They stuck in a pipe and tried to pump oil to the surface.
Pressure and cold temperatures in the water turns oil into ‘hydrates’.
Gas hydrate looks very much like water ice. It is stable in ocean floor sediments at water depths greater than 990 feet, and where it occurs, it is known to cement loose sediments in a surface layer several hundred meters thick.
When BP (British Petroleum) started sucking oil and gas up to their ships (to sell) the pipe got gummed up.
They took the plug off.
My opinion is they are repairing the well – not plugging it.
They licensed and flagged the platform in the Marshall Islands – which depends primarily on coconut exports.
Did the cap in early May stop the rupture as in a natural case? Because BP could not collect the oil to process did they pull the plug and allow the flow of about 19,000 barrels a day to resume?
Is this Obama’s fault? He’s dealing with Communist lunatics and religious fanatics. Is it your fault? Why are you letting oil companies lie?
Are you actually depending on the Coast Guard to oversee this process?
When will they start pumping?
The current estimate is late August with three supertankers worth of oil swirling around in the Gulf.
…oh, and 11 men dead.
